Caydam is a progressive system which incorporates different styles of Self Defence including techniques from Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing,
Kick Boxing, Grappling, and Reality Based Self Defence.
The students are taught simple and practical techniques to assist them in dealing with situations in the modern world. This includes dealing with bullies, aggressive people, multiple attackers, child kidnappers and sexual assaults.
The programme is split into 3 different categories: Primary School, Secondary School, and Adults. This way the separate programmes can be tailored to meet the students' requirements at different levels in their lives.
The students are also taught self confidence, awareness and communication skills which could assist in diffusing a situation, rather than automatically resorting to physical self defence.
Caydam also incorporates on improving fitness in an enjoyable and fun way. The exercises taught assist in improving flexibility, strength, speed, balance and co-ordination. These are very important skills which can assist in other sports and give them the foundations to continue their lives in a healthy way.
